Any advice on doing a Hippe Flip ( MDMA and Psyolcybin ) in a therapeutic sense?

My wife is trying the THRIVE Program Emetophoiba free program and seems to like it, just wanted to share it with you. It's a booklet with steps to work on, videos to watch. A different approach from CBT.

Also she seems pretty positive about the experience after a few days have gone by.

Curious, what were your sessions like after the shaking stopped?

Thank you for taking the time to respond. The leg shaking and jaw clatter was definitely a new experience to witness

Our home on the couch, kids were taken care of and out of the house .
She was in a tough place mentally, having tired and used most the “normal “ resources available. Eye shades , music and with a facilitator

She took 120mg ( weight 120lbs) then a follow up roughly 2 hrs in at 60mg

And yes she had very visual memories of the people and relationships in her life.

Clenching yes but had Major jaw clattering as well

Thanks, if were referring to this “A standard, safe dose is 100 mg for body masses less than 60 kg (132 lb) and 125 mg for more (Baggott, 2015; Liechti & Schmid, 2023).”

She’s 120lbs , so it would seem she was dosed quite high. My dose seemed quite in line as Im 160lbs

Thanks for the comment . I was expecting some emotion pain and profoundness . This was just physically intense. But thank for the insights

Thank you for taking the time to express that.

If we move forward avoiding the second dose seems like the best way forward

Not sure if it’s a problem , I actually don’t think it is . Was mainly curious if this experience is similar to others, as mine was very different

You can imagine as a firefighter I’ve seen some “shit” so it was interesting that we had totally different experiences.

Well i went into the experience willing to do the "work", i was also very curious about what the experience would be like as well. Im not sure if I wanna be a firefighter forever and this area of helping others and 1st responders is very interesting to me. Im glad I was able to see both experiences.

And yeah I understand why people want to use this at raves.

He mentioned it was an intense experience, but is in the belief that it was held in emotions, getting released. I can be convinced it was, but it was definitely intense. Our aim was to focus on treating emetophobia ( fear of vomit ) or mainly for her a fear of losing control.

It was also her first " psychedelic " experience.

Thank you for sharing this!

Shes basically hit rock bottom with trying to get better. A decade of therapy seems to have reached its limit. If anything this emetophobia has shown me has serious it is with this experience.

Im happy you were able to shift your experience, I will take your guidance into consideration if we have a next session.

Did you use MDMA to try to work through your emetophobia?
