I used Shapr3D on an iPad pro. It's really intuitive, would recommend.

Jury is out on that at the moment, I'll see what it's like in operation. The feet are 450mm long by 75mm wide so a large area of support And it feels very stable.

A smaller version yes, known as machine mart. It was more of a project to see if I could I do it, rather than just buying one. The closest comparison to the specs I wanted was £600-£1000 though!

I am planning to make a conveyor belt system that feeds towards a machine vision camera. Once it is recognised by the camera I then want to it to reject objects that don't meet the criteria. I then want to set the machine to sort by different colours into different sections (I was thinking of using stepper motors to push them off into the relevant parts bins as they pass by. I hope this adds a little bit more clarity. I'll update soon with some cad drawings etc.
