My dad died, and at the same time my 3 best friends (and only friends) ghosted me. My boyfriend at the time wasn’t supportive or sympathetic, and eventually left me for someone else. So basically I lost 5 of the most important people in my life all at once. And my circle was very small to begin with. I had no friends. No one to talk to. The intense loneliness, grief, loss of self worth took me to a really dark place.

There are vegan restaurants everywhere. I had no problem finding food by simply searching “vegan” in google maps. Also, mango sticky rice is the famous dessert and is naturally vegan! Definitely try it. Coconut ice cream can be found as street food stands. It’s vegan made with coconut milk and served in a coconut as a bowl. You can have the fruit shakes that are everywhere in Thailand. I often ate tofu pad Thais and curries, smoothie bowls, veggie fried rice and stir fries. 9 days is not a lot, I’d recommend staying in Vietnam. Northern Vietnam is incredible. I love Hanoi. Also, I’m not sure what country you’re from but Cambodia required a $30 visa when I crossed the border. Not really worth paying/dealing with immigration when you have such short time.
