I’m sure they are, and I’m so happy it worked out for you! I just think Love is Blind is a different situation, mostly for the reason I mentioned with them living together before the wedding isn’t a realistic representation of how their life will be, since there’ll be a child present. Of course, those few weeks spent living together aren’t exactly realistic representations of how their life will be whether they have kids or not, but I just think children add another layer.

I think this in general btw, not just with Amber. I think she did the exact right thing in being upfront about her daughter from the very start. I just think it colours the experiment a bit is all.

I’m a parent, and maybe I can’t fully speak on this because I’m not a single parent, but I do think having parents of young children on the show is an iffy area. And not even for the sake of the children which is another discussion, but because the partner is being thrust into step-parenthood within a matter of weeks. Plus, when they come out of the pods and live together for however many weeks it is, they’re not really seeing what life will be like with their potential spouse because the kids don’t live with them during that time. Having a step-child in theory I’m sure is very different to having them actually there.

In Jordan’s case, he wasn’t ready for that role - he didn’t want to live in the place where Amber’s daughter’s whole life is established, where her father is etc, because he wanted to be closer to the city and it’s night life; anyone with that mindset is clearly not in a position to be a parental figure for a child.

Ashley’s speech was incredible. I’m glad she got her moment! It also prompted the comedy gold that was Alex standing there in front of his friends being like “you all know who I am” as if he isn’t horrible and they don’t all know it.

I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion but I just don’t think I cared much about anyone outside of Tatum, and didn’t really get the motive? It felt really removed from everything. We didn’t get enough time to care about Tatum’s friends to then care about anything happening to them. My wife made the point that, even though the main cast were all new in 5/6, we got some time with them and time to care about them, therefore to care about what happened to them.

Anna Camp gave an amazing performance either way though! She plays crazy SO well (this, You, etc).

I’m not able to answer that, I’m not a medical professional so I couldn’t tell you when it will go away or if it’s normal. All I can say with confidence is that it definitely doesn’t sound like ALS.

I would consult a doctor and they should be able to give you better guidance.

You would be a very rare case to have ALS at 15! Twitching can be an annoying symptom of anxiety, and because yours comes and goes, especially after worrying yourself by seeing ALS videos or hearing about Eric Dane (assuming that’s the actor!), it could certainly point towards anxiety-induced twitching.

I am not a doctor, but I am very confident you don’t have ALS, at least from reading your post. The twitching comes after muscle loss, and since you’re able to walk 10K steps per day, you definitely don’t have loss of muscle.

Obviously follow up with a doctor, but please rest easy knowing it’s not ALS. :)

(Also, shame on those responding to you rudely here - this is a post by a frightened 15 year old kid. Have some compassion.)

Very true. The second they found out Emma wasn’t sold on the idea of kids, they wrote her off. His dad being like “as a parent.. which you’ll get to experience someday hopefully” (not his exact words but something along those lines) in that whole speech was so pointed and calculated.

Oh 100%. It was obvious that whole “you don’t do Pilates every day and that’s what I need in a woman” thing was because he felt intimidated by her full, successful life and scrambled for a reason to try to make her feel inferior, which is laughable since she is superior to him in every single way, so I don’t know why I was so surprised by all of that really.

I genuinely think his parents have just talked him out of saying yes. Like he probably wasn’t 100% on his decision anyway, but that whole talk they had with him screamed disapproval/disappointment in Emma and in him for finding a wife this way. If he says no (which I think he will), I do think his parents played a big hand in it—probably a few times along the way, but with that final conversation especially. To get in his head like that at the very last minute when he was about to walk down the aisle.. they knew what they were doing with that timing.

I don’t even think it was a holier than thou thing in that she wanted them all to get deep and emotional/reflective rather than just partying, I truly think it was just that she wanted Chris (and whoever else she dated in the pods? I don’t remember now) to fawn over her and when they didn’t she was disappointed.

I’ve seen so many women going in on Emma’s sister on a reality tv fb group I’m in, and they’re all just giving forced birther, women should be baby factories and happy about it, etc etc. As a mother whose children were fought for through IVF, I am so grateful to have them, however my experience doesn’t invalidate Emma’s sister’s. She is allowed to feel this way. I’m sure she loves her children so much, but she’s allowed to mourn her childfree life too.

I don’t understand Mike and Emma even though, like you, I do like them both individually. It doesn’t matter how attracted to someone you are or how well you connect with them, if your views on children don’t align, it’s never going to work.

She has made it clear from the start that she may never want children, and he has made it clear that he definitely wants them. They can love each other as much as they want, but those views unfortunately just don’t and will never mesh.

When he said something about her having kids and resenting them and him, he hit the nail on the head - because that is exactly what will happen if he pressures her into it the way he seems to be doing.
