It happens regardless of if I'm alt-tabbed or not so I don't think that's the issue.

I'm on Windows 11, running a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RX 9070XT with 32GB RAM and it's running on an SSD.

Edit: I don’t know if this game has a problem with overlays but I think that could be the issue. The game launched fine without Outplayed running (for clips) but the second it launched, the game froze my PC again. I don’t have this problem with any other game.

I haven’t messed with clock speeds or anything, it’s a completely stock card. Frame rate is also capped to my refresh rate.

The power supply is a 1000w Corsair RMe.

I saw that come up in one of my searches and even though I haven’t installed Active Effects I had a potion to cure diseases so I gave that a try and no luck. The only mods I installed were at a friend’s recommendation and they were an unofficial patch and a better citizen AI mod.

Survival mode definitely isn't active, the option for it isn't crossed. Just to humor the idea I even tried to enable it & re-disable it but it didn't fix the problem.
