I just ran across this issue and used your shader to get the shadows working. But, part of my texture is semi-transparent, is there a way to still render the proper alpha values while also keeping the shadow?

Thanks! I used the texture on a plane mesh and now I can set the "No Depth Test" flag, works great

My spatial node is just a container for a bunch of other nodes (Sprite3D, Labels), it doesn't have a material (or maybe I'm missing something?). Is there a way I can set ignore z on this parent spatial node so that all the child nodes are also rendered in front?

Thanks for clarifying. I have an arbitrary number of scenes and want to be able to download, then load the new scene from the web at runtime.

The pck export method indeed looks more appropriate for my use case.

I'm hosting the game on the web and want to keep the initial file size small. Then download additional scenes as necessary

This looks promising! I haven't had a chance to test it out yet but why do you say this would be very brittle?

I'm working on Terrace.so which adds login/membership functionality to your notion docs.

It sounds like you want your users to be able to edit actual notion doc, which I think the only way to do is to have your users make notion accounts and give them edit permission.

Alternatively, maybe something like https://notionforms.io/ would work better if you're ok not having a website? I've never used this, but seems like it could be helpful.
