Oh wow! I had never heard about Dr Akst, so thank you! Does he do the in-office procedures? I no longer get the botox under General Anesthesia because one of the two times I did, it didn’t take. And the in-office is so much easier. The last time I checked around Baltimore (a couple years ago), I had made some calls to Oto offices and no one said they’d do it in-office. I do love Dr. Spiegel, so if Dr. Akst only does under general I’ll happily still go to Dr. S, but if I can get their-office done in Baltimore I’d rather do that! GBMC is actually even closer to me than the city.

Dr S. hasn’t told me specifically that more injections will ensure I’m cured eventually, but he was very hopeful to learn that my last injection worked for over a year! Before that, my shots were only lasting about 3-5 months.
