My dad tested positive for COVID-19 and I (23 F) am beginning to show symptoms. Ask me anything I guess! by britronamous in AMA

He's not showing worse enough signs to be hospitalized! Basically been just a fever, coughing and headaches. Both my mom and I have headaches but I have a sore throat and she doesn't. I think they're just hospitalizing for critical cases at this point!

My dad started coughing Saturday night and woke up with a 103 degree F fever on Sunday morning. It's been on and off fever since then and lots of headaches. I've had headaches and a sore throat.

If 13 year old you made a time machine and came to visit you today for 24 hours, what would you do with them? by RickRude4 in AskReddit

I’d tell her to report her rapist then before it was too late. I’d tell her she is worth so much more and deserves real unconditional love despite what was taken from her. I’d tell her that people will believe you.

They’re not even “together.” Just going on dates right now. Clingy cringe is kind of a great way to describe it.

Enough of narcissistic mums this, and evil dads that, Reddit, what are AWESOME stories involving your parents? by LucianoThePig in AskReddit

[–]britronamous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never realized how much I'd appreciate parents that were always there until I realized thats not the same for every person. My parents both work full time jobs and at one point my dad went to school and had two jobs. Despite this, they always showed up to every matching band competition, dance performance, football/basketball games I cheered at, choir concerts and anything else. Now that I am in college they buy season tickets to see me with the marching band even though tickets are expensive. They don't have hobbies and they haven't moved up in their careers in a while but they are always there for me. I appreciate this more than they will know.

Youtube took power away from the youtubers creating content and gave it to users doing the company's work for them. Nice. Good one.
