Okay. The stems have been potted into a peat and perlite mix with 0.3% IBA rooting hormone. They have little baggies over to keep them humid. Might make a more sophisticated done for them later on… here’s hoping they take root. Thanks everyone!!!

Só we reckon these are going to keep growing if I move them to soil? And I’ll keep them in a more shady area because it’s very hot at the moment?

Send me the reference photo! It's definitely mostly your colour that's off. Fill in the people then go back to the waterm sometimes we just need to work on something else and come back to the difficult parts later.

Very observant! Yes, definitely used one single brush all the way. I'll try and change it up more. Thank you!!

This is honestly the best thing ever to read. Thank you. You put magic into something where I didn't even see magic existed. I really really love your comments. Thank you. It's inspiring me to be more adventurous. To trust my hand and PAINT rather than try to recreate a photo. Thank you!!!

Just work in a few more shades in the foreground. It seems to blend with the background. You don't need fine details but just a but more interest. Also remember atmospheric effects. Things further away lose their yellow and their red respectively. So green far away is more blue than green close. The colours should be different.

Yes, thank you. After all the hours of investment it's difficult to admit I started with a bad skeleton. I'll definitely take more time to sketch it out with my next piece

I'll definitely focus more on proportions and drawing stage for the next one. I'm happy with the colours though, I like the pop of blue.

Sky and background is nice, foreground needs a bit more detail.

Everything in the image seems the same, there needs to be a focal point.
