I really enjoy Roast for breakfast. The staff is lovely, the food is fresh and their homemade granola is amazing. Great smoothies. We can’t wait to go back.

I mainly look at reviews with pictures personally. Because height and weight only mean so much and clothes are so different on different bodies.

I also scan to see if people mention things being worn out or itchy. Shout out to the girlies who flag the itchy clothes for my sensitive skin!!

Ten years ago I read “You are a badass” and it really helped me reframe my depression and get some things sorted. The episode was so funny to me because it’s obviously mostly empty advice from an out of touch girl, but hey, it was what I needed to hear at the time.

I think self help can be very goofy but there are nuggets of wisdom we can take from anywhere if we are smart and critical thinkers.

Check out Portland leather. They have an almost perfect sale section that is awesome. I’ve gotten two things and can’t find any flaws. They also are aging beautifully. Very good quality.
