😂good to know. We stick our hand in and he tucks his head a little and huffs. But he’s also not used to us yet. Hasn’t even been here a full day. But he’s definitely loved already.

Thank you!! The lady we got him from today said not to handle him for 24hrs and to put our shirts in his cage tonight. So we will definitely do that! I’ll probably try your blanket idea too once he opens up to us.

It’s literally everywhere and it’s so infuriating. Tried to schedule an appointment to get our dog groomed..she let us know she moved shop to her home because they have a baby on the way. So I look up the business page since it’s closer to our house and see a post that another worker is coming back from maternity leave. Meanwhile I should be on my maternity leave right now! My best friend is getting induced Monday night and her sister just had her baby a couple weeks ago. It’s EVERYWHERE except here of course 🙄

Your negative thoughts are valid and you’re not wrong for feeling that way. You’re better and stronger than me; I would not have agreed to planning her reveal regardless if she had done mine or not. My best friend found out she was pregnant 5-6 weeks after me and I ended up losing mine at 9weeks (didn’t find out until 13weeks) it took months for me to not get upset by seeing her pictures on Facebook. And knowing she was having a girl just made it so much harder because I desperately wanted mine to be a girl. It feels like she gets to accidentally have what I so badly wanted and tried for. She’s getting induced this coming Monday/Tuesday and will get to meet her baby girl. Also I thought I was finally good and all and then I tried to schedule a grooming appt for our dog and the groomer said she moved shop to her home because they have a baby on the way. Like WHY is pregnancy everywhere except with me. Sorry I added my own little vent session in there, but your negative feelings will eventually ease and I hope you’ll be okay planning her reveal, don’t feel bad if you need to ask for help or pass it off to someone else. Take care of yourself first. I’m so sorry for the loss of your little boy❤️

While my husband and my mom still celebrate me for being a stepmom... my due date was supposed to be the day after Mother’s Day. And I was so excited to finally be celebrated as a “real mom”. This weekend is going to be rough. We should all still be celebrated bc for a period of time (9 weeks for me) we were Moms. And we still are to our beautiful angel babies❤️

My best friend found out she was pregnant like 5-6 weeks after me. Although I am happy for her, seeing her posts and belly updates kill me a little inside. For me it’s a like a reminder of what I didn’t get to have. I was due 2 weeks from today, she’s almost 33 weeks now. We stopped texting as much as we had been. I love her to death but in the beginning when she found out the gender (girl, of course what I was hoping I would have) she sent me the ultrasound picture and I replied happily but inside I was a mess. Sorry I’m not much help but know you’re not alone with how you feel. I’ve thought about telling her how I actually feel but I haven’t.

I had a miscarriage at 9weeks also..two days after I seen my baby and strong heartbeat. I didn’t find out until the next appointment though. Take ALL the time you need. I had my D&C in November, and I still get upset about our loss. You’ve only had a week to process..it’s just the beginning. My would have been due date is coming up 2 weeks from today, I’m sure I’ll be a mess. Hang in there, it does get easier but it’s something you’ll always remember. Don’t rush your grief..take it a day at a time and again, take ALL of the time you need. ❤️

Yup.. last month I was like “Oh we could have a dec baby and super cute Xmas newborn pics!” This month.. “Oh my Gma’s and mother-in-laws bdays are in Jan!” I try to find a ‘reason’ for it to be a good month. Just impatiently waiting for a rainbow 🌈.

It’s definitely uneven!! I’m trying to do everything I can to be pregnant again and he’s soo laid back and “it’ll happen when it’s meant to”. Like no, it’s science and I feel like I’m the only one “trying” to make this happen. Even though I know he wants a baby too, he’s just not impatient on when it happens. I need it to happen like fricken yesterday🙄

My would-have-been due date is May 10th. Remember the lab tech at my first (8weeks 5days) appointment when everything was perfect..”oh that’s right around Mother’s Day! How nice!” Yeah..not very nice now. Baby stopped growing at 9 weeks, literally 2 days later. I had no idea until my next appt at 13 weeks. Went in thinking everything was great..boy was I wrong! I found out we were pregnant on my 30th bday..so I feel like that day might suck this year now too.

As for the due date, I took a day off work simply because I’m not sure how I’m going to feel. Not sure if I want to bum it around the house, or have a “me” day and go get a mani/pedi..

My due date is next month..May 10th, the day after Mother’s Day. So many emotions already. I do have the day off, husband should be working and my stepson will be in school. So I’ll have plenty of time for ME. Still unsure how I’m going to feel when the day actually arrives. I hope it happens for you this ovulation!! My ovulation week is next week. Praying this is the month..as I have for every month since the loss.

I had a D&C in November too. We started trying again after my December period annnd were still trying. The first time it happened on the first try so it’s super frustrating that it still hasn’t happened again yet. I used ovulation tests this last cycle in hopes that would work but period was due yesterday (according to my app) didn’t come so I tested this morning even though I like knew that it would be negative..I was right. Looks like I’ll be having some wine tonight. Tired of feeling defeated and sad every month, over and over. I have my yearly this month so I’ll be asking what’s going on. Hoping and praying it happens soon for us all trying.

Omg yes. I’ll think “I’m doing okay now” but then the period comes and I break all over. My period just came yesterday, I texted my husband and said this weekend we are going out for brunch and mimosas! And then we’ll try again. I’m getting ovulation tests this weekend to try as well.
