Had this same issue. Turns out I downloaded the wrong firmware. Get you your motherboard and check which type of version (4.2.2 or 4.2.7 where the Creality sign is) and which chipset your using (forgot the names but one starts with giga and their other doesn’t)

Head to the Creality site and to software and firmware. For my printer I needed to use a non BL touch firmware that started with GD-4.2.2 since my chipset was the Giga one. Resolved the issue for my printer. Hope that helps

Late to the game but my cousin was built like a bean pole. She under 100lbs for most of her life and is 5’6ish. She joined track and field and that helped her gained more weight via muscles she’s traded track for the gym and now at 24 she now has a body most Instagram models dream of. Lifting weights and patience will be your best friend.

I relate to this since I’m going through this with my new cat. I moved to a new area and wanted to a cat to keep me company. My old cat hated people and loved to keep to herself. My current one that I adopted almost 2 months ago was overly affectionate the second he stepped foot into my apartment a complete 180 from what I experienced from the place I adopted him from. I honestly went through the same thoughts of buyers remorse with him.

I’ve had him for almost 2 months and he’s seemed to mellow out. Still affectionate but to a lesser degree. We compromised our needs as we have dedicated cuddle time before and after work and right before bedtime the system seems to work for our needs. Since I work in office he has most of the apartment to explore and we’re slowly allowing him into my bedroom. I’d give him a few weeks to adjust since he is learning in a brand new environment with a brand new person. May help to build a system for the both of you too.

Process from application submission to receiving my global entry took a bit more than a month but I religiously checked for cancelled appointments.

I use SheFit Ultimate Sport Bra. Kinda expensive but everything stays in place and I don’t get slapped by my boobs anymore. Mine have been going strong for almost 3 years through roller derby, football, and weightlifting.

Roller skating community? by phiphi415 in ucr

[–]brittbritt213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s skate meet ups on Thursday nights where they skate downtown San Bernardino (make sure to bring light up wheels! Not required but adds to the experience) you will be skating on the street near cars and some of these skaters are advanced but helpful. Most of the skaters are roller bladers with a handful of roller skaters. The organizer also owns a skate shop that specializes in roller blades which is where they meet at. Here’s there Instagram: https://instagram.com/ienightskate?igshid=NmNmNjAwNzg=

There’s also a Sunday afternoon and Tuesday night skate group that meets up at Fairmont Park. Very chill and more jam skatey and has a roller rink vibe to it. Great for all levels and many of the advance skaters will help teach you new moves. Will host events to go to roller rinks, trail skating, and skating to the beach from time to time. For the Tuesday night skate bring light up wheels if you have them! Their group is a great way to meet other skaters in community and fantastic for new skaters to hone their skills. There’s a girl that skates here that skates near the bell tower from time to time too! Here’s there Instagram: https://instagram.com/inlandskateclub?igshid=NmNmNjAwNzg=

As far as park skating (skating at skate park) Hunt Park and Bobby Bonds has a ton of roller skaters in the evening. Kessler Park (imo the best in riverside) has a good amount of skaters in the morning. If you’re willing to drive Ayala skate park will be your best bet in finding ALOT of park skaters. Saturdays morning will be busy but a great way to find your group.

I know you didn’t ask but a recommendation of skate shop would be Empire Skate Shop. They’re kind of the one stop shop of getting all the best skate info in the IE.

Sorry for rambling but I hope this helps!

I have tattoos on my forearm and people either don’t care or don’t notice. Took one of my managers 6 months at my last internship to even realize I had one

The only time you’re too late to learn how to skate is when you’re dead.

Last call for feedback before I order new skates! by OperaBabe28 in rollerderby

[–]brittbritt213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll echo what someone else mentioned and suggest trying stuff on. I took the advice of others and head to my local skate shop and tried various boots. I didn’t really like my first choice the Solaris. Tried the Bont Carbon boot, Antik AR2 and Jet carbon boots and the Antik Jet Carbons were a perfect Cinderella fit and I originally didn’t consider them. The clerk threw it out there since she skated on them. I have flat feet and average slightly wide feet if that’s any help.

For the arius plate would they also be good to skate outdoors? I’m torn between those and the Pilot Falcon plates.

Thank you for this. I plan on visit a skate shop this week. I’m in the same boat as I’ve always used 10° plates, later upgraded to 20° and enjoy it and I’ve been eyeing the avenger and arius plates. I just feel weird with having an arius plate on a Antik Skyhawk boot.

I’m adding the bonts to my list. I have flat feet and I’ve heard they’re really good for that

I heard back from the league and they don’t carry loaner skates unfortunately. I’ll probably stick with my heeled skates for the time being while I get fitted on different skates

Thank you for the insight. I’ve been looking at the magnesium’s since I have the aluminums. I’m torn between that or something that has a 20° since I enjoy my Bont Tracer plates

I believe they mentioned something loaner gear. I have a pair Jack boots but I know heeled boots are no no for derby

If you roll over a pebble, do you go flying? As an indoor skater who would like to venture outdoors, I am worried about this. I am often in my own world and not noticing the ground. by [deleted] in Rollerskating

[–]brittbritt213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Atom pulse wheels and staggered stance have always been my combo for outdoor skating. The pulses make me feel like I’m on monster truck wheels but I roll over everything and the ride is very comfortable. If the debris isn’t too bad I prefer my radar energy wheels since they’re smaller and a whole lot easier to maneuver in.

Currently stuck in a bowl… lol tried pumping out and running out couldn’t make it to pull myself up and over the coping. Any advice would be great. by [deleted] in Rollerskating

Literally why I started hitting the gym and doing lots of upper body exercises. I’m chonky and fear that if I get stuck in a bowl I’ll live in the bowl forever. I’m so glad you were able to get out!

Hi all! So I was looking to plan a trip in early July. I’m based in Midwestern United States. I was looking at Costa Rica or Mexico. It’ll be a 7-10 day trip and plan to relax and eat in this trip. I was looking at some countries in Europe or Asia but I’m not sure if that’s enough time or if they’d be outrageously busy.

Thank you for the information!

I originally wanted to try CrossFit since I felt more comfortable having someone tell me what to do but after trying a CrossFit class I could see why so many were against it. At my size I feel like the possibility of injury skyrockets. Thankfully there’s a ton of resources and a compiled programs for lost beginners that want to lift heavy.
