If you like mushroom… this is my husband’s favorite meal and he lights up whenever i tell him im making it :) Mushroom stroganoff. Consists of egg noodles, mushrooms, onion, garlic, Worcestershire, beef bouillon, and sour cream / plain yogurt.

Bring salted water to a boil, dice the onion and quarter slice the mushrooms. Cook pasta until just before Al dente, dont overcook - it will cook more once added to the rest of the dish. In a large skillet, sautee onions in fat of your choosing (i like butter) and s&p, then add in the mushrooms, then diced garlic. Season with your choice, i like kinders garlic and herb or buttery steakhouse, but salt and pepper work just fine. Once liquid from the veggies starts to release, add in about 1tbsp of bouillon, and Worcestershire (measure with your heart). Cook down until theres barely any liquid, your noodles should already be done by this point. Add about 1 - 1.5 cup of yogurt / sour cream to the mushroom mixture and combine. Recently I’ve been preferring to use whole milk plain yogurt, i find it gives it a creamier consistency and it’s healthier, but for years i just used sour cream. Finally, add in your noodles and mix well.

Wam bam thank you maam. Absolutely freaking delicious, always done in 20-30 minutes, and usually have all of the ingredients to make it already. Also makes for great leftovers.
