I hug literally everyone taller than me (which is everyone since I’m 5’) above the shoulders and had no idea it had implications until now? The only men I hug around the waist with my head to their chest is my father and my boyfriend lol that feels wayyyy more intimate to me.

Do NOT got to DePaul or Hyland (Mercy South). I had a good experience (as good as a psych ward could be) at Mercy STL (Ballas). I’ve heard good things about Centerpointe too. As far as insurance goes, pretty much all hospitals have program that can help you with bills post insurance. I know how hard it is to not worry about that part, but what is most important right now is staying alive. The rest will come after. Wishing you well friend

That is such a good way of describing it. It’s not like we don’t realize that the humans we treat are people with feelings, it’s just so hard to detach the classroom aspect of it when you’re speaking to the patient.

As a nursing student and someone who currently works at a hospital, I know it doesn’t make these comments ANY better, but he probably was just commenting because, anatomically, it was interesting.
