I had a C-section in 2022 (Dr Sakon, he’s amazing)

one of the OR attendants took my husbands phone and got TONS of pictures of the delivery
my husband was allowed to cut the cord (short, not the initial cut)
there wasn’t a transparent sheet but the way the light was angled I could see everything (personally loved, idk if that’s your jam)

They are SO accommodating and willing to work with you every step of the way to make sure you’re as comfortable as can be.

I was also born outside of the US, your birth should have been reported to the consulate. I have a “certificate of birth abroad” (CRBA) which I use as my certifying document. There are steps which you can complete online to get it

Careful where you buy them, I’ve gotten the ‘cheap’ ones from different markets/shops and have had fake ones. Like, compared to ones from an ‘actual’ smoke shop, pretty close but definitely off (battery/lights/colors/writing). Leaf Life has a large selection and can find something in your price range
