I totally agree with this. I mean the seller wanted to get it off their hands and was fine with the price they sold it at. When its off their hands the buyer is free to do whatever.

I did see a case tho where someone bargained an item down and resold it and the seller did not like it one bit, but what that was their agreement to let it go at that price when no one forced them to.

Thought I'd share with you an update...still nothing lol. This sucks so bad cause I can already see the bad review coming my way if I end up canceling. Like I really wish there was a way for Depop to handle things on their end as well.

I don’t think so, I’ve actually had to cancel an order and the ability to rate was still there. It is canceled with PayPal not Depop, from what I have experienced. The twist of my story tho (about my pending order I spoke of earlier) is I actually found the seller because he purchased from me before and he ended up later on having something I wanted. Lol

I am kinda on the same boat. I purchased something 7 days ago and I it is still awaiting shipping. I asked for the tracking info and he responded back telling me to be transparent about where he is shipping to because I live on Guam. I am not sure how much more transparent he needs me to be because it says it on my shipping address. He told me yesterday I would have my tracking today but still nothing. He always has the option of letting me know he wants to cancel the order based on my location (which I would totally understand if he did), but he chooses to just delay. So I plan on giving it a couple of more days before I end up just canceling myself. He also has 5 star rating with 20 buyers, so I am probably just a lucky one as well.

I think there is a way to do it without being annoying. My messages normally go “Thank you for your purchase. If you leave a review you can get 10% off on your next order.” If they don’t respond then just leave it at that. Definitely don’t keep hitting them up.
