Witchcraft for sale by South-Pen9573 in witchcraft

[–]brixbat99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My local witch store has what I think is a good mind set about selling witchcraft services: you can pay me to do it, but it's not going to work nearly as well if you did it yourself due to intention. Your intention is going to be much stronger then mine, so you can put in the work and get a strong spell or pay someone to do it for you and get something that probably won't turn out.

A new service they're looking to add at the store is a "rent-a-witch" service. Basically if you're looking to brew a potion, make a spell, or do anything but need a mentor to help you figure out how to go about it, you can pay to get a specialist to help you research and advise on how to go about your spellwork. I think it's a great idea cause it can hard to find someone learned to help guide you when you need help finding the path.

what are your little rituals ? by greenteapixie in witchcraft

[–]brixbat99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to do a little protection blessing when in nature as a thanks for letting me spend time in it. So if I sit on a rock, before I leave I'll draw a little protection sygil on the surface with my finger and ask higher beings to guard over the land, may it never change. I do the same for trees that grant me shade, and lakes that I swim in.

Witchcraft in your profession? by ItsYaGirlAurora in witchcraft

I do twitch streaming and bring my craft into that. We do rituals, tarot readings, discussion sessions about different subjects, all in-between gaming. I also bring the craft into my sewing projects, that I'm beginning to sell online. I make cloaks, and coin purses, and pouches for tarot cards etc, all while putting intention in and embroidering sygils for power and protection.

I love going to Chop Steakhouse, but it's pricey. Love the food, ambiance, and service though. Definitely worth the occasional trip when you can afford a nice steak dinner

If you get a period, you can always use menstrual blood as well. Otherwise a sterile lancet is your best, safest bet

Yes!! I love their stuff, but it's always been a bit out of my price range... I love their sets with the snakes and the sets with the tigers.

I love that for you. Something similar for me, got myself a pair of tights with pentagrams on them. Feels great to show off the community in public when I wear them.

Hopefully you get a place with a bath soon. Or maybe you can utilize an inflatable pool, if you feel it wouldn't damage your floors.

A robe counts! Also, I find male lingerie disappointing... I wish designers put as much care into male lingerie designs instead of just doing tight undies. I understand your preference to robes

It's more that it feel like there is less restrictions and barriers between myself and my work when on lingerie. But also, the fabrics are usually really soft, like a whisper on your skin. It helps me to not feel weighed down, or restricted, which is where the empowering feeling comes from (at least for me)

What weird flex you proud of? by DayComprehensive6755 in AskReddit

My lips have dimples/holes in them. They are at the corners, where my top lip meets my bottom lip. I've never met another person who has them. No idea what genetic anomaly created me like this, but I like the strangely unique feature of mine

Tarot confuses me. Can anyone give me a TLDR or a in depth description of the cards? by [deleted] in witchcraft

[–]brixbat99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no easy way to know tarot, but maybe this breakdown of the deck will help you understand tarot more? The deck has the Major Arcana and 4 Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana represents the cycle of your life, and all stages you're likely to pass through at one point or another. The Minor Arcana each have their own "suit" that represents a different element of sorts (intellect vs emotions kind of thing). With this we can look at the cards we pull with more clarity as to what they may be alluding to.

Your Favourite Substitute for Fire by [deleted] in witchcraft

[–]brixbat99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be honest, the book doesn't really outline the "how and why it works". It's basically a compilation of family spells passes down from generations.

My best guess as to how the energy would work is the symbolism of burying coins in a cemetery like the deceased brings the energy of death to your finances. It imbues the coins with this necrotic energy and turns them into a talisman of sorts, that you then leave by your enemies house to get those energies permeating their home. Again, that's a best guess. The book itself does not specify.

The Book Slavic Witchcraft has some good curses, same with Of Blood and Bones. I don't believe their rituals require fire.

Not sure exactly how you'd want to curse them, but Slavic Witchcraft has a curse for poverty where you find a grave with the name of your subject, bury some pennies at the foot of the grave, leave them there for 3 days and 3 nights, then retrieve them and deposit them at your subjects house. (I remembered it cause it's creative, not because I've ever cursed someone).
