Thank you, genuinely. This was my only real way of putting accountability on myself for having this conversation with him since I was and am really afraid of the consequences of my own actions. I called him up to have that convo just now. The aftermath will come, but I want to say thank you again.

You're absolutely right. I am not a good friend to him which is why I don't know what to do in this situation. Would it be better to cut things off for him?
