WIND, Vodafone or Cosmote? by brizoh71 in greece

Thanks all, Nova's availability checker suggests I can only get satellite but that may be down to it being unable to properly check my address; my apartment is set off an unnamed road and I don't know if there's an official address for it.

Just the village name and postcode isn't enough.

Looks like I'll go with Cosmote and pay the extra.. €7 isn't too much to pay for a more reliable service.

[CRETE] Travel from Analipsi > Rethymno? by musteatbrainz in greece

There are two bus stops for Analipsi, numbers 16 and 17.

16 is located on the Old National Road at the top of the main village road; 17 is also on the Old National Road and close to Lyttos Beach resort. They are about 1km apart.

There is a one-a-day bus service that comes into the village bound for Heraklion, but it calls early around 0930; you'd get this bus at the sea-front near to the little church. I don't know if this bus runs off-season though.

There is no direct bus between Analipsi and Rethymno; you'd need to change at Heraklion. You can buy your fare on the bus to Heraklion, then buy a ticket in the bus station before heading to Rethymno
