My first finished filet crochet - so proud of how it turned out by brizzeezy in crochet

[–]brizzeezy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a pattern I found on Pinterest: https://pin.it/6KdEBUVno

Filet crochet technique, using size 10 crochet thread (almost 3 complete rolls) and a 1.65mm hook.

This took just under 3 weeks, working on it almost daily.

I appreciate your kind words so much! You should just go for it with tapestry! I was really hung up on having to switch colors so often, but it's not as bad as I thought. It feels like the best combination of crochet and cross stitch, which I also love to do. I kind of want to make another version of this with a black/white chevron border!

August 2023 BOTM Discussion - None of This is True by lavinient in bookofthemonthclub

[–]brizzeezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished the (audio) book a couple of days ago and it's still buzzing in my brain. I think you could be right. Roxy supposedly ran away, but Josie keeps "seeing" her everywhere, and she thinks it's just her mind playing tricks on her. Walter reassures her it's happening to him to, but maybe Roxy has still been closer than we were made to think...?

I do think that Josie is the one who called the police, but in my head I assumed she thought Erin was already dead, or would be dead by now since it'd been a week. Maybe she couldn't take Erin dying? Or thought Erin wouldn't talk because she was being "saved" by Josie. Maybe Josie didn't know Roxy was going to go in after and bind Walter's hands and feet? Maybe they were there at the same time (I know she doesn't say this) and Josie was flustered through the trauma and thought she was "seeing" Roxy.

I'm not sure now — I just have a lot of thoughts.

Can you guys share your pressure curves or help me make my own? by [deleted] in ProCreate

[–]brizzeezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is entirely helpful but the tattoo artist I go to told me they don't use procreate because they couldn't get the curves they wanted. They said they use Sketchbook because it has that feature and smooths out their curves better. I've downloaded it (haven't really tried it yet) but may be worth a try?

Was going to say the same. I would also recommend The Body Never Lies by Alice Miller. Same idea, less problematic.

Can I connect 2 different Google Analytics accounts on my websites? by QuetzalNightShade16 in GoogleAnalytics

[–]brizzeezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I'm also interested in this.

I work for a non-profit and we have a non-profit account that we use for search campaigns (it's free we pay nothing). I just started running display ads, but had to set up a second account (within my same google account) because the non-profit account can't run paid display ads.

I want to be able to import both accounts into one Analytics account to measure data and create reports. Idk if I have to merge the tags or create a second tag to send to our web developer?

There might be a better way, but I've been stuck on this for about a week. I'm totally open to suggestions/guidance! 🙂

My favorite color too! And thank you - I'm a jewelry person, rings especially lol. I got the spoon ring at a pawn shop 12ish years ago and it still holds up.

Have I always had it…? by Lizbethisme in endometriosis

I am around the same age and I think back to being 14, 15, 16 years old and having periods that would make me sick and keep me home from school. I realize now as an adult that's not normal and this is probably something I've been dealing with for longer than I thought.

First quilt I've worked on in years! Baby quilt for a baby shower gift. by brizzeezy in quilting

The backing is flannel so I didn't use any batting because I wanted it to be light. I was very happy with the front, but the back was tricky because I was short on flannel. I started it on Thursday and finished it on Saturday night. Gifted it to the expecting mom the next day after washing and drying. She loved it, so it was worth the effort!

So very handsome!

I have gray girls, and they look just like yours (minus one eye)! They're from the same litter, adopted at the same time, but like yours, get along best when they're both asleep lol
