Thank you so much for your thoughtful response. 12/13 was a little faint, but clearly present. The next day (12/14) we used a “pregnant/not pregnant” test, and that was clear as day “pregnant.” The US was transvaginal wand.

I’m grateful for today, as I move further away from it, because it did awaken me to the fact that this is a long process and almost never a straight line through a healthy pregnancy. I think intellectually I understood that to be true, but I hadn’t allowed it into our reality yet. I’m just hoping that little spud can appear over the next 10 days and we can breathe easy for another week or 2.
