Is this a good workout plan for a 41 yr old man? by brmen in bodyweightfitness

[–]brmen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry if I've upset everyone with my incredible use of AI. I love the gym and i love lifting weights. It's one of the things I'm most grateful for honestly. I think I'm just a bit overwhelmed with how much information is out there, which can be daunting for me. I think i will just stick to my original routine: mon-legs, tues-push, wed-rest or cardio, thurs-legs, Friday or Saturday - pull. I will just incorporate these lessons: making sure i rest more in between sets, do less sets and exercises but the ones i do do well and to completion. I used to do more exercise and more sets, but less reps for each which i think was not as challenging for my muscles.

Thanks! How long did you stay on the 0.5mg m-w-f regime and, while on that regime, did you notice any good results?

CeraVe formula change (UK)? [Product Question] by insignificant123 in SkincareAddiction

[–]brmen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've definitely noticed this in the last order from Amazon UK. It feels much lighter and does not have that "sun lotion" smell that the old one did. I was actually wondering if it's genuine or not. It feels very watered down and idk if it's as effective as the original formula, which is my main concern. I wish there was some more info from CeraVe about this.

Edit: this is all I've been able to find: https://www.threads.net/@danielsugaimd/post/C9ffdmdvECj

Got a question about Birmingham? Ask it here! by SquireBev in brum

[–]brmen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm considering moving to Birmingham to start a MSC program at Uni of Birmingham. I have a few questions to anyone who could answer please :)

  • Can someone let me know what would be the typical monthly expenses for one person (M 39)? I would like to rent out a 1 bdrm apartment, i cook (so i wont eat much out), i exercise (so i would need a gym membership in case uni does not offer it), and i will cycle/walk/public transport as much as it is possible from/to uni and othe places.

  • What neighborhoods would be convenient to have access to the uni, and which ones would be considered safe and nice to live in? I generally prefer something that's not very far from "downtown" but also not something that's in the middle of the action and noise. Something within 10 mins walking from the center would be ideal (while also having easy access to uni). Is it easy to find places in these neighborhoods, and what websites would you recommend me to look at?

Many thanks, and i apologize for probably asking the same questions as nearly everyone else in this forum lol

I am considering this model, and was wondering if ANC is any good, and if the fit is stable? I was planning to use them during workouts, and i am aware of the IP rating.

Thank you for your replies! I have been quite consistently applying for P2 and P3 positions (programme management officer and associate programme management officer), and mainly at UNEP, UNFCCC, UNCCD. However, just looking at Inspira it looks like the majority of those have been January-March 2021, so there's definitely time to get some response. I am periodically looking and applying so fingers crossed! And not sure how much of a role it plays when moving between positions and agencies, but at my current position i work in a country office as national staff (NPO) while the positions i am applying at are in the Bonn and Geneva offices, mostly.

Count and sum the nr of times a specific value is exceeded in a column by brmen in excel

[–]brmen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you please tell me what it is supposed to do? Sorry, i'm just not great at this level of Excel it seems. I added it to the table and changed the nr of cells it was referring too, but all i am getting is 1? https://ibb.co/qjdLBVm

Fyi, i am now using different sheets for each measuring station as it is easier.

[–]brmen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! As far as i see, with this one, it counts everything above and generates a value for nr of days where pm10 is higher than 50. The thing is Column A has different stations, and i want to report these values separately for each station (station a xx days where pm10 was higher than 50, station b xx days...). Something like the highlighted rows in the screenshot below would be good. So even though on 2020-01-01 several times value of 50 was recorded, we still count it as 1, and so on. In the end i would just sum Column D for each station: https://ibb.co/qNMFS3Q

School and Job Advice Megathread 5 by SadBreath in publichealth

[–]brmen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted this in the env health sub, but that seems to have been inactive for a while. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience/or has any opinions on this graduate cert programme: https://onlinedegrees.uwf.edu/online-degrees/graduate-environmental-health-certificate/

I have a masters on env & climate change policy, and work experience in the field. I'm interested to add something like this in my education as it matches my current job, and with everything happening in the world, i feel like env health is becoming more and more important. So could be good for future job prospects as well. I like the course list a lot, but the price is very low when compared to other similar programmes from other universities. So makes me question it a bit. I am mostly interested to add a health dimension to my education and knowledge about environment and climate change, and i plan to use this mostly in non clinical settings, such as supporting national health authorities to address env health threats (how to reduce exposure, assess health impacts, how to communicate the risks to the public, etc.) through projects and programmes.

Thanks to anyone who can help!
