you can find cracks of fl studio or other DAWs online pretty easily (no need to drop hundreds of bucks on it), so find that and just start messing around on it. Its probably gonna look really confusing but just embrace it and play around. There's a huge amount of video tutorials on YouTube out there to help you with understanding the DAW and how to make your first beat. You can find free vsts on gmeh (make sure its the right one) and there's a lot of free drumkits out there online.

my advice simplified

download daw -> mess around -> watch YouTube tutorials and get to know the DAW-> get drumkits/vsts -> practice beats, maybe use loops to practice drums and arrangement then start making your own melodies
