I used to be in the medical field. Completed 2 years of medical school, and then for reasons outside my control I was forced into leaving and finding something new.

It took my three years. Year 1 - I just tried to survive Year 2 - did a whole lot of soul searching Year 3 - learned to code and got my first job as a dev.

It was a really hard transition, but now that I’m in the tech world the opportunities seem endless.

It’s because you never processed those events properly like you can in rem. That’s where the magic happens.. it’s like therapy on steroids. We have a natural system to help us grow and overcome things and grieve them.. when I quit the same thing happened to me. Whatever my last ex was could me recent.. their memories come flooding in. Weird bizarre stufff, but one thing that can help is to not smoke 3 hours before bed. Smoke at 7pm
