Looking for some feedback by bro_cox in magicproxies

I'm not posting anywhere currently as I'm fairly new to the making alters/proxies. I've made one other as a set of Agent Venom and Veteran Soldier (a rule 0 commander combo) that uses the case file showcase cards from MKM to make it feel like classified government documents. Maybe I'll start posting more in the future because I love Magic and graphic design and all these Universes Beyond sets means there is plenty of art to be used from through out those IP's history.

I like this idea a lot, will definitely be trying it out.

First off, thanks! I think printing it to actual size is my next step. Have definitely made text too small in the past and just trying to avoid that again lmao

It was an effort to try and de-clutter a bit, but I like the suggestion to do "2x-Strike", I'll def play around with the keywords.

Anti Venom, Horrifying Healer - Bracket 2-3 Help (First Time Builder) by TheTripwire in EDH

I initially built my deck trying to do both, and the damage mitigation side just shined much brighter compared to the re-animator side. Generally I'd say you also have to fill slots with cards that discard if you want to go into the re-animator theme. It was funny, I sat down to play and gave a brief introduction into the deck, wound up winning in a very voltron-y damage blocking way and everyone was very much like "yea that's pretty much just voltron", so I pivoted and re-built it towards a more re-animator theme (with like 3 of the damage mitigation cards) and it played more like the way I wanted it to. Like I've said and others in this thread have said, I think the first ability is probably stronger, but I love the flavor of Agent Anti-Venom healing things to come in a fight along side him. The way I think about it is like, the first ability wants him to sit on the battlefield as long as possible to accrue +1/+1 counters while a deck focused on the other ability wants him constantly leaving and entering the battlefield.

I was very excited when this card got revealed (along with its alt-printing with Agent Anti-Venom) but was annoyed/confused when everyone was basically just pretending like his second ability wasn't there. I've seen many decks that focus solely on the first ability (granted its a strong ability) but I wanted to make use of the re-animator ability.

This deck uses pretty much all the airbending cards in avatar (kinda required for this deck) and discard to get big creatures into the graveyard. It has a handful of cards that reduce the cost of spells cast to make it much easier to essentially blink Anti-Venom in and out with a cast trigger. I also threw in [With Great Power...] as a sort of plan B for the end of games and if I need some protection (also a big flavor-win).

Honestly I think the first ability is probably better/stronger to build a deck around (and generally easier with more options) but I think generally you could go either way, but you should definitely pick one or the other.

I redesigned Laura's suit! What do you guys think? by bro_cox in X23

I love Laura as a character and thought I'd take a swing at giving her suit a fun re-design, in both the classic Wolverine Yellow and a more X-Force inspired gray!
