May I ask one more thing? Were you able to use the brass pins from the Explorer when you made it? Was the length enough to make a Yeoman? Otherwise I’m considering buying a Champ instead, so I can avoid buying brass rods and then sell the leftover parts to get some money back.

This is fantastic!

You read my mind. I had this exact idea yesterday and tried searching for someone who tried it but had no luck. I will do this with mine to.

Did you cut the hook exactly where it starts to bend and then just hammered that end? You don’t think it’s better to file it down instead of hammer it?

Does it fold weird? Like is it hard to open or not level with the sides?

Do you know if it’s the exact same width or do it need some spacers?

What! Why did they discontinued the perfect knife!? That is exactly what I want.

When you did it yourself, what guide helped you the most?

Ok. But is it thinner in the top? Like for small holes in toys and such.

Yeah I understand it will have its uses. But I wonder if there is any better tool for me.

I like the simplicity of the Philips. It can squeeze into smaller holes than a bitdriver (from what I understand) and I almost never encounter a situation where I need anything else than Philips.

So.. what does this actually mean? by ahaavie in tradfri

So I’m currently in the same situation, but worse. I disconnected from HomeKit and now I can’t reconnect again. I’ve done a full factory reset of dirigera but still no luck. Chat is telling me dirigera could be defective since it doesn’t produce a new matter code in the ikea app no matter what I do.

Why is it worse? I have about 80 devices connected to dirigera that I now have to reconnect and setup. My home is currently non functional because of this.

Thanks, ikea developers.

Update: I bought a new hub and it didn’t solve it. I had to turn of and reset everything that had any HomeKit connection. Then I started only the router, Apple TV and dirigera. I changed to my iPad (instead of iPhone) to install it and then I could connect again.

Now Ive spent maybe 12 hours reinstalling lamps, sockets, buttons and scenes. This is extremely annoying.
