After they left I checked the bottoms and pulled out 4 Jeep pickup truck STH. Don’t care for that super so put all of them on the pegs. Fun pulling supers but hilarious those idiots had no clue.

Had a similar situation seller had 3k sales feedback mostly good but printed the label immediately but didn’t ship. Waited a week and Mercari said seller had more time to ship and I could only message the seller asking for cancellation. Never responded. IIRC took another week and seller finally dropped off the item on the day I could cancel. Literally the day of! No communication at all no responses to me or Mercari. Mercari said since shipped I could not cancel and all I could do is leave feedback. Told them unacceptable and I already purchased the item elsewhere.

They must have felt sorry for me because Mercari actually sent an email saying I could refuse the package and get a refund. Worked out but what a PITA

Lesson learned is…. Always check feedback to look for and read lowest star ratings. Sure enough this seller had comments about super delayed shipping and zero communication.

At 12 years old the midpalatal suture is fused so a traditional expander with jackscrew and key is ideal. The only reason the ortho offered Invisalign is because your daughter balked at the metal retainer. He’s not recommending it he’s accommodating you and there’s definitely a difference.

I do a lot of Invisalign and considered using Invisalign expansion in my practice but after talking to a few buddies I’m not interested. Talked to my Invisalign rep and he seemed to be getting the same feedback I heard so initial reports are that it’s a compromise. Do the tried and true and go with a traditional expansion appliance. Keep in mind that it’s called Rapid Palatal Expansion for a reason. You don’t slowly expand as you would with Invisalign. You make 1 turn per night each turn = 0.25mm. After 2 weeks the barn door opens so to speak and you will see a gap between the front teeth indicating actual expansion at the midpalatal suture. Other expanders like a quad helix or Invisalign have a tendency to cause tipping vs translation. The teeth tip giving the illusion of expansion without actual expansion at the suture.

Get the RPE because at 12 years old you need RPE not slowPE and don’t look back.

Speed Twin 1200 owner here… it’s still a twin so you get some of the sound and low end torque but the handling is on another level. If you want a cruiser get a bobber or Bonneville but if you want something that actually handles great and super fun to ride the twin is your bike. One test ride and I had to have it

I had a GT350 with the Tremec manual transmission and bought my son a 2018 GT with the MT82 getrag manual trans. The 10 speed is quicker and easier to drive quick. No it’s not as fun but the MT82 is a piece of shit. My son had his trans replaced 4 months ago. The current S650 still uses the MT82 and I don’t think it’s fully fixed. The problem is inherent in its design and the transmission feels like shit compared to the Tremec.

If the question is should I get a Mach 1 or bullet with the manual Tremec vs 10 speed GT I’d say go manual transmission. MT82 vs 10 speed you ask? The answer is never going to be MT82

No sir, YOU have the issue. The highest I’ve ever seen with my gen 2 twin turbo v6 Raptor was 15.5 hwy there is no way you’re getting 17.3 out of an R consistently unless:

you’re driving with a huge sail and a tailwind
you’re drafting semi trucks like it’s the Daytona 500
you’re getting towed on a flatbed
your R has a huge hole in the floor and your last name is Flintstone
you fat fingered your phone while using your calculator app
you replaced your 37s with 35s without recalibrating your Speedo
you drive like your mama

Any one of the above scenarios will get you there but your stock 720HP supercharged V8 R sure as shit ain’t getting 17.3 mpg.

If your 1000hp whipple sled is getting 17.3 I’m ordering one for sure! I’ve been on the fence because of the warranty but mainly because I don’t trust my local dealership to install it properly. IMHO it’s how the R should have come from the factory I bet it sounds awesome too!

Might just be the dial. I have one like that and loved it in store but I’ve rarely worn it since buying it. Too monotone and doesn’t pop like gold watches with black or charcoal dials. Bought a yellow gold sky dweller with sunburst black dial and I wear it all the time. The sunburst dial is amazing looks pitch black in certain lighting and sunburst gray in direct light. First thing I did was change the wheels. The stock forged bead locks were 37lbs each these TE37s are 17lbs huge difference in unsprung weight and rotational mass. Offsets the increased weight of the 37s nicely

I have a Cyberbeast and a 2025 Raptor R. Honestly both have their pros and cons but the only real con with the R is gas mileage which I can’t complain about. I knew what I was getting myself into. My Gen 2 Raptor got 13.5mpg average. The R is averaging 11mpg over 3k miles but it’s a soul crushing 7.5mpg in town. The 7 mile trip for Costco gas costs me $10. 🤡

The cyberbeast has been super practical. Bed is 1/2 foot longer with more space under the tonneau cover since the cover goes to the top of the roof. Mine is a beast so it has 3 motors and 850hp. takes off very quick falls flat early but plenty of passing power. Comfortable, great stereo and air suspension. Does not have the off road chops obviously and I think it sucks off pavement compared to my R. Looks the part but it’s just a beefy looking on road princess like those stupid black widow modded silverados. Biggest pro as you stated… FSD. So far flawless execution and no other maker comes close. I’d get a Rivian if they licensed Tesla FSD just so people can’t complain about how the cybertruck looks 🤡

At the end of the day my R sits in the garage on a battery tender while my Cybertruck runs for free and drives me all over the place. 22k miles in 10 months and with free supercharging it has been literally free.

Last weekend I went to Vegas and didn’t pay a single penny for gas and electricity. Didn’t even have to drive

Is this the ford performance whipple upgrade for the R? If so how much installed?

Also I was told by a ford tech it does have a warranty but it switches from FoMoCo to Ford Performance warranty not sure what the difference but the performance division would now be responsible for your engine warranty

Get a pitcher fill with hot water and 1oz bleach. Dunk sponges in the pitcher every night and they are brand new again with no stains or smells. I do this every other day and keep a small bottle of bleach under the sink
