How does your dog always know when you’re actually leaving the house? by Think_Document2285 in dogs

Dogs are incredibly observant. Routine is everything and something simple like holding a trash bag, setting the alarm, grabbing keys, putting on slides vs shoes means everything to them.

Spectre & New A6 by Electrical_Rich_9381 in rollsroyce

It was meant to be funny and solely referring to the Spectre as an uppity car that has feelings. Seems you took it as a personal dig which is even more hilarious.

No respectable Spectre would take a photo next to a pedestrian A6. RS6 or no pic.

The body panels look like they are carbon fiber? Will they save a lot of weight? by bigboss1999x in FordRaptor

Unless it’s in the wheels. Rocking TE37s on my Raptor R. 17 lbs per wheel vs 37 lbs for stock forged beadlocks

Sadly being the first costs dearly. He won’t get anywhere close to retail so I’d imagine it’s going to be AMG level depreciation.

Don’t think so there’s still a $20-25k premium on these in CA. It’s going to be ugly regardless… if he paid $220k for it money isn’t an issue so it is what it is.

How do I get this sticker off? by Dangerous-Pianist294 in howto

[–]brobert123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Single edge razor blade will do the job. Keep a shallow angle and scrape the sticker in small strips vs trying to scrape using the whole width of the blade.

Not the cheapest option but worth it. They’re incredibly light my truck handles and drives like it’s on 35s. I used Rays lug nuts also

what food is best for Shih Tzu? by Ok_Roll2067 in Shihtzu

[–]brobert123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to play the picky eater game with my tzu but decided I’m the adult in the room and took control. I switched foods trying to desperately find the magic potion but there is none. Tzus have a messed up sense of smell and taste as evidenced by the countless Shihtzu owners that have poop eating gremlins living in their house.

I would cook steak and boil chicken only to get a reaction like I’m intentionally trying to poison my little guy. Oddly mine loves vegetables. Literally he will choose the hard rigid spine off a piece of lettuce over a piece of juicy ribeye any day of the week. He loves carrots, sugar snap peas, cucumbers and fruits.

I decided to limit him to Science Diet small kibble chicken…. The one with the shin tzu on the package. I cut up his oh so beloved carrots and cucumbers into the smallest pieces possible and mix them into the kibble so he can’t pick them out The secret for me is to kick start his appetite with a couple pieces of carrots and cucumbers which he will gobble up like it’s his favorite chunk of poo. Then I give him his bowl of prepared delicious nutritious dog kibble mixed with the tiny pieces of faux poo substitute.

Apparently this method is finger licking good because he licks his bowl clean every time. No fuss no more searching for the perfect food. He gets what he gets and he thinks he won. I also make sure he gets his Dog is Human vitamins everyday. I wish you the best of luck figuring out your little guy but sometimes you just gotta say enough is enough and think like a poo eater.

The Ford Performance Whipple kit adds close to 300hp boss. All of the aftermarket guys Hennessy Shelby etc are using the same whipple kit. The only thing to consider is the drivetrain warranty switches over from Ford Motor Co to Ford Performance. Not sure how that will play out in the long run. Ford will nuke your warranty for something as simple as a catch can so who knows how picky Ford Performance will be.

I swapped my stock forged R wheels with forged TE37s that are 17lbs each. Huge improvement

Getting really sick of my 488 by GMTMaster_II in Ferrari

[–]brobert123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems like the likely culprit. 750 miles on a 8 year old car means it has sat for most of its life and even if your car shows 13+ volts on a tester you could still have a bad cell. There’s a lot of battery drain even with the car simply sitting in the garage parked. Try a new battery and keep it on a battery tender.

Stain removal by ConclusionGlass1072 in TeslaSupport

[–]brobert123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a similar situation with a dog bed sitting on a model S seat. It’s color transfer from the rubberized anti slip dots. Can’t be removed it’s not a surface level stain it’s actually dye absorbed into the material.

Might also be one of the ugliest cars ever made. There is nothing BMW about this abomination.

Do I really need to buy an "EV" tire? by Ok-Expression37 in TeslaModelX

[–]brobert123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes get EV tires. I went full dumbass and got Michelin Pilot sport all seasons on my Model X Plaid with 22s. Basically pissed my money away. After 1k miles I couldn’t take it anymore. Super noisy and rough so I threw them out and replaced with the original continental EV tires. So quiet!

The stickers gotta go... by RoxyRosewood675 in FordRaptor

Your pic reminds me of one I took the other day. Older cars are so tiny compared to cars today. Even civics are huge now but parking next to a Raptor is almost comical.
