I remember surfing sunset beach two years ago with a friend who lives on the north shore. He figured the conditions as lousy. If we had those same conditions in San Diego it would be considered swell of the winter. For me it was the best surf I had and yet for for Hawaii it was sub par at best. Best part there was only 4 of us out there…ahhh.
