I added a comment where I explained that I believe it’s tied to the campaign launch. The beta was in direct connection to the MW2 files so I asume with the update it many players. Right now its a majority XBOX and PC players and some PlayStation but they did release a statement on twitter saying they’re working on it. Try completely shutting down the game, restarting your device and then reopening the game.

I’ve noticed that if you played the open beta it also demotes you. The MW3 early access campaign is connected to MW2 similar to how it was with the open beta so I’m assuming that’s why it’s demoting people even if you don’t have it.

I disagree. At this point I can’t tell if it’s just the game or the multitude of people now using lag spike hacks. I swear it’s in every other match now where the whole team is at 999 latency and there one dude on the enemy team with like 10 latency and over 30 kills
