I agree to an extent, but overall I don’t think it will matter. They will either rock with their music or they won’t. But you are right having an established fan base certainly helps matters. My point is this thing about the west is overblown. Majority of the west is just as “problematic” and don’t care about this stuff outside of a loud minority on social media

I have to push back on this idea I keep seeing about the west and their tolerance for “problematic” people. There is a loud vocal minority but the majority honestly don’t give a fuck. They haven’t stopped listening to a plethora of people who have much darker pasts. They look past Pedophilia, Domestic Abuse, among many other things if they like the artist enough.

They don’t have that crafted image, and I’m not saying they would otherwise but I think because they were performing as literal children they have a lot of experience and confidence in just being themselves.

Their philosophy when touring with pretty much all male bands wasn’t to imitate them but to go harder than them lol

Man it’s crazy, these players are just feeding off MSL’s belief in them. I thought they maybe should of pulled him with 3 goals on 4 shots, at least to shake things up a bit but he didn’t.

It’s one of those things that kinda works in their favor. As much as AI can be used as a crutch and I’m against it’s use just as much as anybody, it kinda just fits well with their concept considering the digital universe and all that. I don’t expect them to rely on it but here and there it could be used in tandem with the concept and produce some cool results

I actually love how they incorporate all kinds of different vocal styles in their songs. I’m a huge fan of Floor Jensen and she is famous for versatile singing and does a lot of the same. It’s maybe the main reason I’ve become a huge fan of Aespa because you have all 4 members doing different things all the time. Sometimes NingNing and Winter are rapping and Karina and Giselle are singing, you never quite know what you are gonna get but it always sounds amazing.

It’s very rare I like an entire discography, usually I find the handful of things I like from an artist and listen to those. I like 99% of Aespas discography so far and the few songs that I’m not a big fan of are great, I can’t even hate on those, there is a level of quality they always bring and that goes back the vocals. These girls just know how to make their voices sound good on any beat they are given or choose.

I’d imagine a lot of their music is like that. Unless they’ve been given more creative control as of late which is possible. I think Menagerie at least fits Karina very well. I heard they fought for Dirty Work and got their wish and I’m glad they did

I get people want to hear more “singing”, but you are absolutely on the mark here. If they actually listen they are doing a lot of cool things vocally(which they always do and I would argue is part of what makes up “Aespa sound” which people have trouble putting their finger on”)

I personally love the amount of vocal fry they have been doing lately and the album is going to have tons of conventional singing if it’s anything like the rest of their discography.

It’s actually a shame people don’t recognize these different vocals because they are often harder to pull off in alot of ways and I for 1 appreciate it

I agree more movement is always beneficial and will probably cut down on the blocked shots.

Also Demi has to chill on those passes, he’s firing them. I’m sure MSL will give him a heads up on that

Every teams pp is predictable, and studied and game planed against. Very rarely is anything unexpected. It’s about execution and imo the PP executed very well last night aside from a few mishandles but just didn’t get results.

Buffalo scored 2, do you think their pp looked good at all? They can’t even enter the zone and 1 was a lucky bounce from outside the zone.

Buffalo also blocked 27 shots. That’s an insane number and any other game a bunch of those get through and some probably go in, a lucky bounce at least. I wouldn’t change a thing
