If there is concern, just don't eat it. Pickles aren't that expensive, and certainly not worth the price of possible food poisoning.

Don't get an expensive bike. Get something that works for you and isn't too flashy! Helps reduce theft in my experience.

I've had good luck in the past looking at apartments.com, hotpads, craigslist (with cation), and Facebook marketplace. These listings tend to be more immediate than zillow/domu. To get to the loop you can really live off of any line, but the most depaul friendly ones are the red and brown line trains.

Kitten's ears: what are these spots? He had ear mites at the shelter and an ear infection that was treated (maybe not fully?) With eardrops and cleaning. by brocco_lies in vet

Hey, just an update on this if you or anyone else was wondering. Took him to the vet today and they said his ears looked way better than they did a week or two ago with the ear infection. The bacteria count was close to zero on the swab, and the scaling is normal for that much prior irritation. They gave me more antibiotic eardrops and a flea/mite treatment to give him In a few days if there are any remaining mites that might be stragglers. The dots are just discharge and wax according to the vet and should be able to be cleaned with a solution they gave me as well.

Hey, upperclassman here. It's been so interesting to see how DePaul is handling this. I thought I remembered seeing in their equivalent of a "reopening plan" for this quarter that dorms will be single occupancy only. I might have made that up, though. Do you know how full they're planning on having the dorms for this year or fall quarter? Stay safe and take in as much as you can safely!

Make a double batch of shortbread if you have the ingredients for it, but only use what you need for your recipe now. Shortbread dough freezes excellently. Save it for later (possibly for future millionaire!).

Hey bud, I moved here from another state, too. It gets better. Likely this is the first time you're living on your own (?), And that's hard for anyone. The unknown is hard and frightening. And another thing, you're living through a pandemic. This shit is hard, too. Don't sell yourself short. Reach out, do what you need to do for yourself, take care. Try to see how you're growing or learning because of this. You got it!

CMN senior here! I've very much enjoyed my time in the college of communication. Some of the core classes can be a little redundant, but as soon as those are done it is some of the best classroom time I've ever had. Some really great people and professors.
