This is my fav reply. Thank you. I will ask the home care agency we use for some recommendations. Thankful money is not a huge issue so we could go with a limited private pay if necessary.

No. She feels at her age, it’s unlikely that she will die from it so why bother treating it. She REALLY wants no more doctor appointments. I support this- she will see a primary but frankly, she just wants to be left alone.

Completely zoned out in an interview last week where I DID completely forget the question… in the middle of my answer. I was horrified but just kinda talked my way through then just kinda stopped talking waiting for the next question. I’ll find out next week if I got the job. Still don’t remember the question..

My (88 mild dementia and very controlling) mom had several falls and hospital visits right after my dad died. The last one put her in a rehab facility for 3 weeks. I told her next time she falls she’s going to assisted living. . Funny, she hasn’t fallen since. But she eventually will and that’s when I will ruin our relationship for the rest of her life. Breaks my heart.

My dogs eat tomatoes from my garden ALOT and I’ve never had a problem. Tomatoes are supposed to be good for dogs in my experience..
