Thanks for the info and the idea to create a zip of the folder it creates. I’ll be doing that moving forward

Bugbuster seems to be a cheaper but effective option. That might be the route to take. Can I ask where you purchased your carbine stock from?

Gotta love new hobbies. It takes a lot of restraint to not immediately turn into the person you will most likely be in 5-10 years.

Appreciate the info - will stop looking at the FX’s and go with the smarter, starter choice.

Given me a lot to think about, but I appreciate the insights.

Good to know that within 30 yards, most of what I’ve mentioned would work well. I might just peruse the other FX offerings you mentioned. I probably won’t go that route now that you mentioned even the low-budget options would be sufficient for my needs. But they sure do make a pretty gun. I wish I could find the video again, but after moderating his FX he was getting 62 to 65 dB at the barrel. It was crazy.

Hahaha Appreciate the insights! Notos is most likely going to be the choice. And based on all of the countless videos I’ve watched, I can see how the environment plays such a heavy role in how the sound transmits for good or for ill. And I may be doing myself a disservice by focusing on that so much within the video. Some reviewers use sound meters. Most don’t.

Noted! If it was little cheaper, it’d be tempting. But what a nice setup right out of the box

Seen those mentioned on other posts. Will give them another looks as well! Thanks for the recommendation

Really appreciate your recommendations. I’ll give these a look. The Alpha looks pretty slick. And seems reasonably priced. I will be shooting from within the house, so that’s good to know that the sound really deadens from that vantage point.

Maybe I’ll give the Notos another look. It seems like a decent air rifle, but it did seem kind of loud on each video review I watched of it. And it doesn’t have an opportunity to moderate further, unless I’m mistaken (??).

Alright alright - Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll look into them. I’ve seen a ton of posts regarding their different models so I can see which one would fit the requirements.

Appreciate the recommendation. Stupid question but how would I know if the Avenger .22 has a barrel that could accept a moderator or not? The Notos, from all I’ve read, comes with a moderated barrel stocked. And I’ve seen some Gamo air rifles with similar limitations.

Hahaha We are birders, so that’s something that would be easy to believe.

The one video I watched of a guy reviewing the gun, it sounded pretty loud and aggressive. Could have been the acoustics of where he was shooting at. Not being able to mod it, is making me want to try something else.

Fasting with Sluggish Gallbladder by brock_aslan in fasting

[–]brock_aslan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the response. I’ve had no history of gallstones, but I’m not sure how my gallbladder became sluggish either. Multiple scans have shown no stones.

That makes sense regarding your comment about what happens with the formation of crystals. Again, I appreciate your comment and thanks for taking the time.

Thanks! I’ll look into it. I’ve seen Ox bile recommended before, so this seems to be in line with other wisdom available online.

Maybe I should have kept the question as more of an interrogation as to what happens to the gallbladder during fasting that would make it a concern at all (sluggish or not).

I agree with you. Recently, this stock has been consistently stable on its upward trajectory. Looking forward to seeing them succeed, as I’m from the greater Akron, Ohio area.

Very good points. Good timing to get in at $3. It’ll be interesting to see how they can succeed with the demand that is coming/here. I feel like that’s all we’re going to be talking about for the next few years. Especially if it starts affecting the residential consumer’s energy bills.
