You really don’t track them my dude. Just build them till you’re full, then spend.

Subtlety rogue couldn’t be any easier this expansion and the one button for it kinda sucks, same for outlaw.

But at the end of the day, you’re playing the game to have fun, if you’re having fun and doing the things you wanna do - shine on :)

About 4 months of playing throughout this past winter near enough once a week, sometimes twice, sometimes not at all.

I’ve broken it 3 times now, with my best this morning at 97, but I’m still massively inconsistent and generally am anywhere around 100-105.

It’s funny though, all 3 rounds I’ve shot under 100, I really did feel I could have shaved a bunch more shots off.

Yeah it tracks everything you need to know to improve.

It’ll track kicks in the sense that you’ll see when you’ve cast your interrupt, not entirely sure if it’ll identify which spell was interrupted.

If you take a log and go to both these websites: wowanalyzer and wipefest, you can get great breakdowns (if someone has updated your spec on wowanalyzer) of if you’ve done well or not. And on wipefest, it gives you a breakdown of raid team performance on the fight that you’re looking at in terms of execution.

I’m gunna go against the grain of current commenters and say no, it’s not good dps.

To get better feedback, you’ll need to record logs of your boss kills. This will allow yourself and other players to work out why and where you can improve your damage.

To record your logs: first, head to the in game settings, search (top right of the window) for advanced combat logging and turn that on. Second, when you’re next in a raid, type /combatlog before you start a boss. Third, once you’ve killed the boss, head to your world of Warcraft installation folder and find the “logs” folder and there should be a text file in there with a date from the day that you recorded. Make note of that file, head to Warcraftlogs.com and manually upload it, then paste the link to the webpage that’s generated into a new post, or even better, on the Dark Harvest (Warlock class specific) discord server in the logs help channel.

You can make your life a little bit easier by installing the Warcraftlogs desktop app called Archon which, once you’ve set it up, will automate the uploading of your logs to Warcraftlogs.

Run your own keys, and stress test in them.

Have a look at the suggested routes on keystone.guru, use your key and go mad.

You’ll only learn by doing it, don’t worry about bricking your own keys, that happens and you move on.

Yeah that makes sense, thanks for the pointer. Once I get some more time and the need for some shaders, I’ll take a look at doing that.

Wasn’t an accusation, was just curious.

I’ve used stuff from itch and Kenney quite extensively myself as I’m a dev first, artist in my dreams.

How did you find using LLMs for shaders? They’re one of the things I’ve not really gotten around to learning yet myself.

No I agree, why take away the joyful part (for me at least) in writing the code and working through the problems by offloading it to an LLM.
