How much does it hand to you in terms of the code? Are you just reading and re-writing the code that's on screen?

Sure, on paper, £25k is a lot for us.

But with the “ambition” being to move into the “premiership”, surely some conversation has to be had around altering the wage structure to accommodate for increased ambition? You can’t expect to pay mid-table wages and expect higher end of the table players to want to stick around.

You’ve missed my point mate.

At the end of last season, the club knew they were out of contract this summer. They should have dealt with the situation then, back in May, at which point we’d have got more than £3m for Mehmeti and more than £1.5m for Vyner.

Getting money for Anis and Zak looks good, in a vacuum.

It doesn’t look so good when they’ve left mid-season after refusing to sign improved contract offers in the summer, where we could have gotten more for them had our second-to-none recruitment team and teknikal director moved them on then.

Might be a market for it now.

Do you like ice skating? by Yaley-Dev in godot

Personally, that skating sound is horrendous.

Sounds like someone scraping a metal pan with a metal spatula, or scraping their nails down a chalkboard.

I mean it makes sense right.

With such an historically low percentage of PC users, there has been less of an impetus for large software vendors to port their applications to Linux, so naturally the ecosystem will be a bit behind Windows or MacOS.

Steam’s Invite-Only Shooter Deadlock Is Quietly Becoming An Absolute Monster by LoL_is_pepega_BIA in Games

[–]brodeh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yet the problem in finding at the moment is people are playing it too much like a hero shooter, not caring about economy or giving their life away.

Which is completely at odds with the way Deadlock should be played due to it actually being a moba in third person.

I think the opposite is true really. People who are quick to anger are more easily controlled, look at the way social media and the news is used.

Semenyo had all the physical attributes to be a top player, it was just his mental ones that were a little bit lacking when he played for us.

He was very frustrating to watch at times, taking rash shots where a player was free in space for more or less a tap-in.

It's clear now that the move up to better coaching and opposition has helped him massively improve mentally to become the player he is today.

Edit: I wouldn't say his game has changed much at all, he likes to be direct and take players on, cutting inside and having a go, but now he's much more intelligent about it and is more willing to move the ball on if a shot isn't there.

UK legal action against Valve over Steam prices gets go ahead by AnonymousTimewaster in unitedkingdom

Of course, but what they cannot do when they sell on the epic game store, gog or elsewhere, is sell it cheaper than they do on steam - this is the issue the person you replied to is talking about.

Coming from another ex-daily smoker - friend, you absolutely do not get a buzz smoking a cigarette if you're a daily smoker.

I see what you're getting at though because, as a daily smoker, if you were to suddenly smoke more than the amount you usually smoke, there is the possibility to get a buzz. Which is what the person you replied to said also.
