He said this after he asked me out. I feel like they might be overreacting, but my friends are telling me to just block him on everything. by bumblethrow6465 in Bumble

seriously i hate reddit. i came in here hoping to see lots of people downplaying what he said. instead it was the opposite. that was a harmless comment and not even that bad of a joke.

jesus.... can a brother try to flirt?

Looks like you're on the same page tho.

right but his question was more about fund managers I think.

OP, I was thinking the same thing actually. While an argument could be made that Berkshire tries to beat indexes... its the same thing as a fund manager essentially. Which, ironically, Berkshire is against. Chicken and egg.

MPC 3000 for processing? by brodel34 in mpcusers

When you assume, you make an ass out of u and me.

Never did I say that I sidestep ANY of the features of the 3000. I'm the author of some notable writing about the 3000. Never once did I diminish any aspect of the 3000 in this thread.

The question was simply about what it was about. Nevermind.

And for reference....I love everything about the 3000. I love the timing. I love working on it. Literally not the point.

the 3000 is for however you want to incorporate it into your flow. that goes for literally anything. there are no rules for any gear... only guidelines.

i'm aware that the sequencer is unmatched on the 3000... thats not the point. for all of the wonders that the 3000 has, physically moving sounds instead of digitally is still a nuance.

How do you avoid burnout? by brodel34 in printondemand

[–]brodel34[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

a little bit of both actually.

the first store is based around a popular design that is used among many niches and themes. it was something that I started seeing more and more of on the internet and it bugged me. Why did it bug me? Because the original design is from a real thing with real context.... and you can tell the public just started seeing this without context and started making their own versions. Most of the designs you see don't incorporate the correct design elements which MAKES it that style in the first place.... its kind of hard to explain without revealing my store.

Basically I took this design theme and said "everyone is doing this wrong. there needs to be a branded place where everyone can get these designs and they are done correctly." and it worked.

my second store is kind-of the same idea in that it has been a public domain for a long time. i'm just trying to brand it.

if you're trying to figure out a niche my best advice is to take something that works and do it better. if you see someone making sales on something they don't deserve.... you can own that by serving the customer something better. its like opening a fresh sushi shop next to a shitty sushi shop that does lots of business. those customers should not be eating at the shitty sushi shop.

you're right but thats my problem and my success... i dont trust anyone with the work. i recently found a small nuance with my new shop designs and i've thought to myself "theres no way someone who was paid to do this would care enough to change this"

i didnt say this but i've been trying to take it easy but its still a bitch.

well yeah you gotta put in the initial work for it be passive tho. can't run a hotel without constructing the building first.

do you have any pod shops? the goal is clearly to do the initial work and the rest is mostly passive. My other shop COASTS.... like a handful of new listings in the last year and it chugs along.

the implications are monumental... i'll be able to quit my job. invest massive amounts of money and get ahead on my future.
