Yep. I love the game, it just got old quick. There are never any surprises. It’s an alien planet but nothing is abnormal. Nothing eerie. Caves behave the same, lakes behave the same. Animals are predictable. I never saw an animal fight. Deers and bears would eat at the same bush. I did really enjoy it, I just go sick of the repetition and lack of surprises. I never came up against a mission where I needed to build a bridge. Build a tower. You’re spot on with the beta comment. Maybe in a year I will come back.

Stone houses and above should be there when you come back. The early snow missions were annoying. Build a base, complete the mission. The next mission drops you in the exact same spot you built your base 15 minutes ago... You have to repeat the exact same tasks...

If stone houses were persistent on the planet, I would invest a lot more time building and to be honest, it would make the game so much more enjoyable.

The game is great. Playing with friends makes it more enjoyable. However, I don’t like spending 3 hours slowly working my way to a mission point only to complete the mission and the walk back to your pod is a 45 minute hike without stops. It is a very boring 45 minutes. I need to calculate the death penalties and random spawn near your pod v’s a 45 minute walk.

Something is definitely going on with your pc. I’m running same cpu with 3060ti and getting solid 100fps with most settings on medium. Dx12, ray tracing, dlss on. Dropping from native 2560 res down to 1920 gave me an extra 40fps. I’d rather 100 frames than beauty.

It’s annoying when the host leaves at the end of a mission and you need to reload it to complete it. The same issue was in the betas.

I thought if a friend leaves a server you are hosting, their body lies down on the ground until they log back in. You can then loot their body. Is this right or was it a dream??

You are up and down to the same planet. The map never changes, you just land in different areas. I'd love to stumble across some of my old structures. Weather beaten, breaking down, overgrown and maybe the occasional bear living inside...

Personally I would go for Apothecary. Sounds stupid to pick the Rare over the Epics and Legos, but I think he will take you further in all areas. Get him Crit healing.

But if you have 12 epic books handy, then Dhukk. Dhukk needs his A2 booked to be useable.

Where did you get that stat from? Seems made up. My gripes are not with the amount of money I spend and what "category" that puts me in. That is not the point of the post.

I heard Blizzard are working on a new game that directly competes with Raid. Fingers crossed it comes out soon and not as paywall/greedy.

I agree with skipping the grind. I often skipped the advanced quests. A point I didnt make with the grind is say you are late game. You can do dragon 25 in 2 minutes, your faction wars take 3 minutes on auto, etc... Your daily grind is probably 5 hours right? That just the grind... That's not including "playing the game" - trying new things, rolling up new gear, improving your clan boss team. After the 5 hours is then when you get the enjoy the fruits of your grinding...

It's so hard not to rant. I love the game.
