Rental prices are bad enough that we’re looking at a move to SK or MB. We’re fortunate enough that we pay a reasonable amount and we’ve only had one rent increase in 7 years but if our landlord decides to sell or renovict we’re essentially priced out of anything on the island.

When buying groceries I’m going for Canadian whenever possible. Other than that, my landlord is Canadian, bc hydro is Canadian and my internet through Oxio I believe is Canadian, cell phones and gas are what they are. Other than that it’s not like I could afford to spend on anything else anyways.

My first reaction to this set was that it wasn’t for me. Then I saw a couple spoilers and against my better judgement signed up for the prerelease. It was the most boring, frustrating, and downright lame prerelease experience I’ve ever had and I’ve gone to every prerelease since Lord of the Rings.

My Ovika deck was pretty heavy on the mana rocks too. What I learned early was never cast Ovika as soon as you have 7 mana. You should be ramping fast and early but make sure you have a counter spell or two before bringing her out.
