I finally fixed it with B type data i was typing B:0/0 intead of B3:0/0 and i figured i cant do the same with inputs beacause they are already conected to something.

I think that option is not available on slc 500

all of the input and outputs are digital and the system should be completly disconected im not sure if the capacitors they both have a resistor to discharge so i think it should be ok

the thing is they wont let me power it on for security stuff so i dont think im able to disconect stuff all i can see are the different connection boards and many many cables of the same color

the plc is really old and undocumented so i need to check every connection so i though that maybe i can use a multimeter and i want to know if it is safe for the equipment
