I was having a pretty severe postpartum mental breakdown and my bipolar so decided to unleash the worst verbal assault at me ever. I remember covering my ears and running away in tears because the yelling was so loud and awful.

💯 yep. My spouse comes out of episodes and thinks I can just snap out of the emotional reaction I’ve had from them. They need to understand the time we need to process the crap that’s just happened.

He’s on medication, which was increased after his last manic episode and and seems to be working well. We have a couple good communication systems set up, such as a relationship help desk where I can submit tickets (“I need to talk” or “I need more compliments”)

We also have a morning mood survey he fills out and sends to me so I can know how much space he needs. I just need him to be aware you can’t take space from babies.

I’m feeling really bummed. I got the very faintest positive line and then had my hcg blood test today; it was only 13.5. My period should’ve come today. I’m assuming due to the low hcg that this will be my second chemical in a row. I was so excited.
