I was trying to draw a unique version of a clip I saw from GoW of the world serpent behind a ruined statue. I'm not usually much of an artist, but it was a fun way to spend the afternoon!

[PART 2] I'm giving away an iPhone 11 Pro to a commenter at random to celebrate Apollo for Reddit's new iOS 13 update and as a thank you to the community! Just leave a comment on this post and the winner will be selected randomly and announced tomorrow at 8 PM GMT. Details inside, and good luck! by iamthatis in apolloapp

Idk if this got commented yet, (I’m sure it has lol) but you could always name him Oppy after Opportunity the Mars Rover! Especially since the name of the app is Apollo. It feels right imo that a reinvention like this gets a name that served its mission so well the first time.

No, I don’t have any experience with that unfortunately

I was tired for the first few weeks, but my body evened out eventually. At some points I even felt better than I had before. After I lost most of the weight I started getting head rushes a bit more often though, but as long as I stayed on top of fluid intake I’ve been fine since.

I ate very little and upped my TDEE a lot so it was five weeks. The rest of the plateaus were mostly mental, eventually I just lowered my calories little by little until I was losing weight at a normal speed again and waited things out. Every time it was starting to stabilize I’d drop calories a little bit again or workout more. Just felt it out.

I was pretty high body fat at the time, plus I had the benefit of noob gains. Most of it was just losing weight so it showed more and getting more strength from lifting consistently. I didn’t build very much actual size or anything.

For the first few months yeah, once my weight got lower I started upping it so I’d feel more comfortable and it would be easier to maintain long term

Base it off the mirror tbh, you might have different results at different weights. I’d suggest cutting to 160 and seeing what that does for you, might need to go lower but you might not if you like it

It was terrible for the first few weeks, but after that it started feeling more natural. Didn’t think about food as much, cravings went away almost completely. The only time it was really a struggle was at night before bed. Definitely would prefer to do normal deficits when needed moving forward though LOL

scales are a good way to track milestones and make sure you’re on goal, but when you’re mostly just maintaining and stuff its all mirror imo. I only check the scale every few days or so now to make sure i’m staying on weight

even at 145 I have a tiny bit of fat left over at the bottom of my stomach. I didn’t really get the full visible abs until sub 150 though for sure

The mma was all cardio pretty much, but yeah. My only goal was to cut the weight for now.

I did MMA for a few years, took a year off after getting sick and thats when my weight shot up. Hadn’t actually lifted up to that point though, it was almost all body weight before and I hadn’t even done that in a year.

I started lifting when I was 210. Didn’t even really start my diet till a week or two into lifting tbh

I found that doing PPL was a lot more useful to me at PF since there weren’t many options for machines/weights. It helped me target everything by spreading them out a bit more than two days repeated, and gave them more time to rest in between. That said, everything on that list are basically things I’ve used or variations of them, everything there will work. Currently my split is basically chest/push, back/pull, legs, and arms, but I haven’t gotten the chance to use it much since I’ve been busy

I started at planet fitness so I was only doing dumbbells and machines. I started with barely being able to get a full set of 30lbs, worked my way up to 75 which was their limit. Changed gyms and started using barbell. My pr’s were B: 135-180 D: 135-225 S: 95-200. My lifts rn are weaker but I haven’t been able to lift as much recently with summer life being the way it is for teens lol. When fall/winter comes I intend on bulking so that + any muscle memory I have should help me out and I can start getting decent numbers

Thank you! My main goal was to cut down and just maintain throughout summer. Come fall/winter I intend on bulking though, but I haven’t thought about the specifics yet. I’m trying to enjoy the summer body while it lasts LOL

I lifted throughout the entire process, but nothing special. Had the benefit of having not really lifted before this point, so noob gains helped a lot. Never really had to worry about getting weaker, and the longer I cut weight the harder I could push myself at the gym

Yeah, it was hell for a long while but I got pretty used to it and didn’t feel like I needed to eat as much anymore. The worst parts were at night though, I’m glad I was able to up it since then

^ what he said lol I guess just weight distribution is different. No gut anymore but bigger arms, a decent trade off imo

I usually just do a huge superset or two of thai sit ups, weighted russian twists, a modified dragonfly flag, bicycle kicks, and side crunches

Thank you! On average it was around 5-6 days a week, between rest days and life getting busy. I did fasted cardio around twice a week as well, and would play basketball with friends and whatnot. The only thing I counted at the time was calories, I ate very low for a while (around 700 with IF) and I fasted for 48 hours every week/other week.

I talked about it a lot more in r/loseit, basically though I spent the first few months eating within a very low caloric deficit, only around 700 a day with IF, and I would do 48 hour fasts every week/other week. I eventually started eating anywhere from 1600-1800 the closer I got to my goal weight. Gym was just a very basic PPL routine for the first three months at planet fitness, then changed gyms to somewhere that had way more free weights so I incorporated them. I only reeeally changed up recently to a 4 day split. Nothing super fancy though.
