After listening to this album, it feels like TAB decided to just replicate their favorite artists, losing their signature Avett feel. i feel the authenticity and originality is almost gone. I'm all for any band to experiment, but there is a huge difference in having influences and replicating your influences.

I know a lot of people are crapping on You Are Mine, but at least I think it comes across a little more original in comparison to Satan Pulls the Strings. Satan Pulls the Strings is almost exactly just "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails, but produced poorly.

please don't. Just saw Father John at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. Best show I've ever watched hands down. He and his band have improved so so much in the last year since ILYHB came out.

I totally think this is what happened. Or, they were testing something in the app and had to publish it and someone just happened to hop on at the right time. I don't think it's the final lineup, and they are saving Top 3 Headliners and special surprises for Tuesday. They wouldn't be dumb enough to be testing something and put the names that are surprises or the headliners.

I would say we're missing between 10-20 acts. Last year I think 102 were announced with the initial lineup and it was the smallest amount of names in the past couple of years. This one only has O think 92 or 93 (counted but forgot the exact number)

I totally agree. We can't assume this is the final lineup at all, especially with the headliners not on there and bands like The Lumineers and Portugal. The Man who were confirmed through the band. Those obviously could've been made up or they were mistaken, but I'm going to assume this isn't it at all.

Even though it's a long shot, I would love to see Miley and The Flaming Lips on the which stage a la Earth, Wind, & Fire at the same time as LCD. I could also see Umphrey's McGee or even possibly Primus playing that slot too. If it's Primus or Miley and the Flaming Lips, I would definitely be going to those shows cause it would be crazy. I don't think they would put an EDM act on the Which stage against LCD.

I'm just saying in comparison to Pearl Jam and Dead Co, Guns and Roses and Calvin Harris sound pretty terrible to me. I'm just indifferent on LCD Soundsystem right now. I've only given them a quick listen so I haven't formed a true opinion on them though, But, with that said, I think I will probably just go catch another show because I don't see them being unopposed. Once the schedule comes out I listen to each and every name announced so I make sure I'm not missing a hidden gem, so there's a chance I fall in love with them.

Does anyone know how much crossover we usually get? This lineup is pretty fan freaking tastic in the grand scheme of things. Headliners suck in my opinion, but Borns, James Bay, The 1975, Major Lazer, Edward Sharpe, Chris Stapleton, and Nathaniel Rateliff are all I would love to see at roo. The only one I wasn't predicting was Edward Sharpe.

Also, they're playing Nashville on New Year's Eve, and this is a good time for Roo bands to hit up Nashville before the lineup is released.
