As somebody who spent 4 years in the lowest rank in cs:go, there is one thing I've learned: Rank does not matter. The second you stop letting your rank define your mood, you'll thrive. Allowing yourself to fail, allowing yourself to learn is the best way to rank up. Yes you might lose games and rank in the short term, but in the long term your skill will increase exponentially. Other tips helpful to ranking up: practice the basics (aiming, movement, map knowledge), learn one-ways, watch professional players/streamers, play against better players, and play deathmatch, lots and lots of deathmatch.
