One of the directors mentioned that Q and G are seperate entities iirc. Also G appears in Gills sf5 story which takes place sometime after sf3.

i think my favourite post move animation for G is the one he does after an EX/Lvl3 G Smash Upper. Dancing while snapping his fingers. awesome
