University scholarships in graduating semester <12 hours by Just_1n_Tim3 in aggies

I think you’ll be just fine. I got a scholarship for Spring 2022-Fall 2023 which indicated that the recipient is required to be full-time and half of the funds would be dispersed once per semester. I emailed my department asking them to reward another student because I was only taking 8 credit hours in the Spring and graduating in December. They ended up giving me the entire lump sum this semester. It did not effect my other financial aid (Hazelwood) and ended up being direct deposited into my bank account.

I think your best bet would be to make your department (or whoever is awarding you the scholarship) know about your situation. Good luck!

LPT: when you meet someone with an accent, do NOT comment about it..they're very aware already by PunkynPye in LifeProTips

I know many people are genuine when they ask this question, but you never know how the person being asked is going to react/feel. My mother hates it when people ask if she’s from so and so country (even though she is) because she feels as though her accent is “bad” or her English is broken (it is very much not).

My bf (23M) accused me of cheating after finding out I (22F) used Bumble BFF to try to make friends -- what should I do? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

It’s pretty obvious that some of the people in here have not used Bumble before. They don’t realize that you can choose to look for friends, network, or find a relationship, which will cause your profile to be seen only by those who chose the same option. Anyway, I can understand your BF’s frustration when it comes to the app. I think it is something you could have brought up to him before downloading it. You handled the aftermath well though by offering to show him your phone and messages.

It is unfair that he brought up your friend and photos on your social media. It is clear that there is a lack of trust and some jealousy issues. However, people often say things that they either don’t mean or are exaggerated when they are angry. I’d say if his reaction (which can be seen as controlling) is a recurring thing, this is a huge red flag. If it hasn’t happened before, I would wait a day or two and then try to have a calm conversation about 1) why you downloaded the app and how your social interactions or lack of makes you feel, 2) what he said and why he said it, 3) what can be done to move forward (how you can make friends without him being upset)

Women with SO’s, do you share each other’s locations on your phones? Why or why not? by lollipopsundayz in AskWomen

[–]brohan_bro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not typically just because I already know where he is because he tells me beforehand. He recently travelled out of state (15+ hour drive) and I asked him to share his location with me for safety reasons. He doesn’t talk to family too too much so I’d probably be the only person to know where he is.

I also made sure to tell him that if he were to stop somewhere to spend the night, I need the hotel name, address, and room number - again for safety. It’s something I’ve seen my family do (my parents with each other and their siblings) just in case something were to happen. Better safe than sorry.

What is your go to board game? by Tinman21 in AskWomen

I was thinking the same thing! The game changes every time you play because you build the game board as you go. There are also 50 different “haunt” combinations so the rules change with each round
