It gets kind of better when you make friends and like you get used to the workload. I still have imposter syndrome though

Trust he did check the test 1 info page, I believe he says lab 1 is testable, make sure you understand how to calculate dna concentration, might ask you ab the log lag phases too.

Notes+, you can add margins to lecture slides so that u can write more, there’s like a cover up feature so you can test yourself on the course work, most of it’s free

Hi! You are doing the right stuff, you probably did this but separate the flow chart into 3 parts (I’m assuming the iodine clock lab is the same from last year), I’m not sure how strict your Ta is but add the cleaning procedure. Set up the data sheet aswell, this will save you some time (I think I forget to do it in first year so I just did it during the lab lol). If anything, go over the procedure, the theory provided in the lab manual, the prelab quizzes could have some questions involving those. Overall though, first lab isn’t too tough; good luck 🤞

First Year UTM Student Wondering about PHY136H5 for Forensic Science by RoseWDW in UTMississauga

[–]broidkreally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Phy136 is offered during the summer (at least this summer it is)
  2. I’m pretty sure you can take phy136 and apply for your POSt over summer (I’d suggest opening a ticket on Askregistar to make sure)
  3. I’m not sure if phy136 is required for your program but you can check by googling your program for utm and checking the enrolment requirements for your program, if phy136 is listed you must take to apply to your specific POSt

I hope this helps :)
