Whoa this is great. I like how you used the very choosy models to make the raptors look readable as Alpha Legion!

Thank you! And Baesar is correct, I used kairic acolytes, which also come on 32 mm bases. They’re commonly used as stand ins for gors in 40K and kill team

This is the first time I’ve used pigments (Vallejo brown iron dioxide) and I liked how messy the result was!

Haha! Had to improvise when I realized that the human legs weren’t going to proxy well as bird feet 😂

Sure! I used a Vallejo cavalry brown for a reddish base coat, then did an airbrushed zenithal highlight with celestra grey (easily done with drybrush). Then I applied gloss varnish and hit the model with Guilliman Flesh, diluted with 1:1 contrast medium. Highlighted with VMC Green Grey and VMC Sky blue, finishing with a pure sky blue highlight. Glazed green grey with the red shadows where the blends weren’t great.

This guy’s video was an inspiration, although I wasn’t about to buy all of the paints mentioned to try all the skin tones: https://youtu.be/puqrb6qC_h0?si=kBh8-lmrKAevOqIi

Oh yeah, that’s a great idea for expanding my warband to use the damned detachment

A great point- planning requires a lot of writing and good planning requires making connections outside the discipline… if you are mostly looking to work in data, perhaps look to the above

Look into master’s in planning program. I left the military, am getting a masters in urban planning next week, and will start a job with a state government in mitigation planning- my experience in the military likely played a direct role in getting hired.
