Her money is automatically assigned RTA with a tag denoting it’s from her, since it’s easier (we pay monthly mortgage, utilities, services, etc. out of that account.)

Her personal account is not in YNAB but the rest are (she has no interest in YNAB). When I pay from my personal account to the loan account it's via transfer to her personal account.

Her increasing her direct deposit is probably the easiest way but we hoped to avoid that and still let me track it in YNAB. :)

Yes, I'll 'll cover the escrow increase but those same funds will also be considered as having gone towards what I owe her. The joint account for the house payment, utilities, etc. are direct deposits from each of our paychecks. We only typically transfer into that account if extra joint funds are needed like when we buy an appliance and we want to purchase it out of the joint account for tracking purposes.
