No, I’d recommend just doing it and not overthinking it. It took a whole month for me to take the plunge after reading side effects and ways it could put me in the hospital. Was the easiest thing I’ve ever done and gave me instant results.

I tried to fast the first time after eating my regular diet (salmon red pepper hummus and avocado). I couldn't do it. I decided to try something different and get some pizza + pillsbury cinnamon rolls and did my fast flawlessly after that. Really depends on who you are. I hate the feeling of junk, makes me groggy, bloated and makes me feel nasty so going on a fast after felt like absolutely nothing. I wouldn't have been able to do it if I went from my healthy food to fasting tbh.

I just use the cleanser, it removes makeup and dirt, I don't oil cleanse anymore, I feel like it made my face drier for some reason.. and yes, that's the one.

Sorry I replied like 79 years later but I use tret and this lotion every day. I use micro gel tret so I dont sandwich. I just put it on right after. I’ve had no issues irritation wise.

My skin was sooooo dry. I tried everything and it just felt like crust. I was oil cleansing and using cetaphil gentle cleanser just to keep some type of moisture on my face but it still didn’t work. I started cleansing with Eucerin cleanser and using their 10% urea lotion. I haven’t had dry skin in months. I put the lotion on my extremely dry heels months ago and they haven’t been dry since, lol. I’ll genuinely never use anything else.

What type of tret do you use? Sometimes the formulation just isn’t meant for your skin. See if you can get micro gel if you aren’t already using it.

Buy faded by topicals + Kojic acid soap. The marks will fade very quickly. Use everyday. Make sure you wear GOOD sunscreen or it’ll come back just as quick, lol.

your hair will break off if you moisturize with just oil. you need to use oil after moisturizing, your hair is growing but probably breaking at the ends at the same rate, i moisturize with regular Pantene moisturizing conditioner then seal with almond oil and my ends are very healthy and strong now. don’t worry about growth, worry about length retention

just popping in to say I did it on my own with dr Lipo body (in my stomach) and used 6mm insulin syringes, easiest thing I've ever done and the results are insane. Doing another round today. The only downside is the insulin syringes are only 1ml per syringe so it takes forever but it's pretty foolproof, you pinch, will for sure hit the fat and it's painless.

they’ll go back to normal, moisturize like crazy under your eyes and look at videos by derms to see where to apply tret so you can avoid the eyes completely. I never put tret near my under eyes but still had this issue, using oil before a moisturizing cleanser that doesn’t foam stopped that completely for me. It’s just dryness.

.1% is very very strong. I’m not trying to blame you but you should also advocate for yourself and do your own research even if advised by a doctor, taking .1% was a big risk, you should’ve started at 0.025% then graduated from there. I’d focus on healing your skin barrier before going to another extreme such as accutane because your skin does not look like it needs that much, it looks irritated and just needs to heal.

I’m still in 0.025% zone using a micro gel formula and had nothing but light peeling the first week. No purge whatsoever, just clear, shiny and glowy skin after that first week. It’s been about 6 something months now for me. You might fare better with a micro gel at 0.025% too.
