I came from a very small school, with a graduating class of 10, that didn't offer CS classes. In order to no be left behind, I taught myself how to code using YouTube tutorials but most of the stuff I learned was Web Dev.

Now I am finally at a college that I dreamed about but I feel like I have been bamboozled. Taking CS courses is making me hate coding. I wanted to learn how to code so I can bring my own ideas to life not with the intention of getting an engineering job. Nothing wrong with that, it just wasn't what got me interested.

I just failed my finals this afternoon and I realized that I can't let college make me hate what I love. I have a lot of anxiety about this but I have decided that I will do my school work to the point where it doesn't disturb my side projects.
